So news flash – you are living in a physical body.
This physical body is a part of your journey here.
Old school spiritual teachings tell us that we are supposed to deny and subdue the body – we are pretty much over those teachings now.
New school teachings place a LOT of importance on what you do physically – down to the idea that there is an ideal diet for ‘awakening’
We have gotten so crazy with the diet stuff now, that you may be one of those people out there who believe that you must be eating a certain way in order to be conscious. You may believe that you must be eating ‘clean’ or ‘light’ all the time in order to become your highest, healthiest, happiest self.
Which may lead you to feeling TERRIBLE about yourself anytime you eat anything that is not ‘ideal’ in your eyes.
Today, let’s get a few things straight about the role of food and your body in your awakening (important, but not in the way you think) and let’s get rid of ALL the weird food shaming so you can comfortably support yourself on your journey using the amazing tool that your body is.
Because your body is here to help, you just have to learn to listen to it.
