Here’s the deal. We all have trauma from our pasts, that is causing us drama in our present.
You know, the childhood wounds that cause you to self-sabotage, pick fights with your partner, never stand up for what you want, have difficulty knowing what you want or how to get it, have creative blocks and have that ‘never feeling at home’ in your life feeling.
You try with all your might to ‘fix’ yourself. You do all the self help stuff. You go on diets. You change your job. You go spiritual and try to get rid of your ‘Ego” (which if you have been following along you not realize is silly) – and yet you still feel like you can’t quit your habits that are clearly causing you drama and you are starting to wonder if maybe your particular Ego is just set to ‘self destruct’ and there is nothing you can do about it. The traumatized aspects of yourself seem to run the show no matter how much healing/self improvement/life coaching or even self love work you do.
This is what we call the trauma/drama cycle.
You know you are dealing with trauma. You know it is causing drama. But you don’t know how to end it.
Today, I want to give you a quick and dirty run down on how we get to the roots of trauma, and why stepping INTO your ego is the ultimate way to actually INTEGRATE the trauma/drama cycle.
Not a way to ‘cope’ with it. Not a way to ‘get rid of it.’ Not a way to stop it. This is actual integration. Where you take everything the trauma/drama has to teach you, you learn it, and you become better for it – and no longer need the trauma/drama to spark that learning in you.
This is how you move forward.
