Hi there!
Contrary to popular belief, there ARE good things about the society we live in.
We're incredibly fortunate to be living in a time in history where due to the work of previous generations, we get to enjoy the benefits of technology, systems and ways of being that give so many of us a good BASE quality of life. A level of access and awareness thought to be impossible for most people in every previous generation.
Not all conditioning is wrong, and not everything about modern society is bad.
That being said, there are still blaring structural issues with the "Matrix" that we call 'normal' - and so many of these issues are being obfuscated from our vision.
Many of us KNOW that there's something 'not right' about the ways that we live. The ways we relate to one another, nature, technology and ourselves. We know there's something wrong with all the exploitation. We know that there HAS to be better ways of doing things and that we're likely going to have to re-adjust our cultural values in order to create a sustainable way of life for humanity.
But we're not 100% sure what exactly to point to as being 'the thing that's wrong' or how to FIX it.
In my opinion, this is because we've been conditioned to believe three BIG lies, and these lies are clouding our view of reality. We're perpetually trying to work our way of the the framework we have with the mindsets that perpetuate the framework - and in this we're finding ourselves falling into apathy, rebellion that's no closer to truth than what we're rebelling from, or actions that don't actually serve to move us forward in the ways we want to move forward.
We're missing the forest for the trees, because we're not getting to the ROOT of the programs we're working with and what's wrong with them.
Today I want to explore what I believe to be the three biggest lies of our current society, so we can start to see how these three lies have their tentacles in pretty much every aspect of society. I want to look at these lies so that we can start to dismantle them in ourselves, and then eventually work to bring them down on a cultural/societal level.
If we don't address the root, we're always going to struggle to build something new.
