Hello!
Today I want to share a juice recipe with you!
I am a huge fan of green based juices. I drink about 1 litre of green juice every day. It is a little nightly ritual for us and I love it 🙂 We will make juice and then play games until dinner time and I feel like it is an awesome 'winding down' activity rather than watching T.V or zoning out some other way.
We have a base recipe of cucumber, celery, cilantro, ginger, lime and parsley. Then we like to add in extras like fennel, kale, lettuces or whatever we found at the farmers market that week.
For the last couple of weeks we have been adding cabbage to our base recipe!
Both cabbage and fennel are awesome for the digestive system. Fennel is soothing and cooling for the digestive tract, and cabbage will help to cure and combat ulcers. They both nourish the mucus membrane and help keep you feeling great.
Cabbage is also a super start in the anti-cancer world 🙂
Ginger will also help to cleanse and clear your digestion. While the remaining ingredients will deliver chlorophyll, minerals and pure living water to your cells.
The ingredients to make this 2 litres of juice (Serves two)
- 1 head fennel
- 1/3 head cabbage
- 1 head celery
- 2 cucumber
- 2 lemon
- 1 lime
- ginger (as much as you like!)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch parsley
To make the juice simply run your ingredients through a juicer, or blender in a high speed blender and strain using a nut milk bag.
I always strain our juice because we have a slow juicer. This slow juicer makes really high quality juice, but it leaves a lot of fibre in the juice:
This much!
I do not like fibre in my juice, so I strain it. If you are OK with it, you can always leave it in!
Our juice ends up looking like this:
Juice perfection!
Do you have any daily rituals that you love doing? Do you drink juice?

My husband and I absolutely love drinking juice in the morning! We start with fruit juice (maybe apple lemon ginger, or other combinations) and then fruit and greens as well. My favorite is pineapple celery cucumber lemon and ginger juice! SOOO refreshing! Thank you for posting always interesting things! Erika
Yum! Juice in the morning is so refreshing isn’t it? Such a great way to start the day! <3
