The Flower Metaphor Of Growth

Today we're going to be taking things down a few notches, and talking about the growth process.

For many of us, the process of growth is a really, really challenging one.

It's a process that requires that we interact with the unknown. That we flounder, fail and have to figure things out as we go. It's a process where we have no guarantee that we are actually going to get where we want to go - even if we follow a well laid plan.

When we're attempting to be something we've never been, to achieve something we've never achieved, to shift patterns and become something new and to get somewhere we've never been - the uncertainty level is going to be high, and the discomfort level is going to be even higher.

While we are walking our path of growth, there is going to be a LOT of temptation to give up - because the reality is, most of the time the PATH to the growth we are wanting to create doesn't look like the DESTINATION.

Most of the time what we need to do to walk our path of growth - to become someone who can witness emotions instead of acting on them right away, to become someone who can occupy a new kind of relationship, someone who can work a new job or have a new experience in their body - is face a whole bunch of steps that don't look, feel or sound like the end goal. We are going to have to traverse land we didn't realize we were going to have to traverse. We're going to have to work discipline muscles and become good at consistency even in the face of the unknown. We're going to have to let go of what we thought the path was going to look like, and surrender into walking the path as it actually is.

Which is all REALLY hard to do in the moment.

So today, I wanted to offer a metaphor of the growth process that I hope will be of some comfort for you.

I want to talk about the growth process in new terms, and in so doing I hope to help you feel more empowered, fortified and sure on your path.

Growth is rarely, if ever, going to look how we think it's going to look - so learning to expect what is likely vs. expecting what is unlikely is a massive step that can make the whole thing feel a lot better.

Are you resonating with the self love path and these tools for self awareness - but aren’t quite sure how to start or how to turn these ideas into actual practices?

Then I have the perfect thing for you!

The Aliyah Mystery School takes all the guesswork out of finding a way of life that works for YOU.

The school is a step by step, full map of the self love territory. It provides you with everything you need to slowly transition from the self improvement/never feeling like enough way of life - to one where you feel capable of supporting yourself, processing your emotions and figuring out your next steps - whatever those steps may be.

The School is designed to give you all the tools you need, in order, that will allow you to figure out YOUR life path, as it presents itself, one step at a time.

It will teach you how to stop seeing yourself as a failure/something to ‘fix’ so that you can see the TRUTH that has always been - all you need is SUPPORT and UNDERSTANDING.

It also comes with a community of fellow students that you can connect with, as well as monthly meetings with me so we can deepen on this journey together.
