Hello Lovely!
If you've been in the spirituality/self help/self improvement worlds for a while, there's a good chance you've been exposed to the idea of 'false beliefs.'
These pesky little creatures that live in your mind, fooling you into believing things about yourself and reality that aren't true, that then lead you to taking actions that don't take you where you want to go.
You've likely heard that in order to get rid of your negative behaviors, to transcend any patterns in your life that are painful, to get to a place where you can be happy and free in this life - you MUST get rid of your negative/false beliefs.
You've likely then been given many tools to help you 'figure out' what your false beliefs are, where they came from and how to get rid of them.
Some of those tools would likely have involved you rooting through your history in an attempt to get to where you first learned to see the world incorrectly so you can shift.
Other tools may have you not trying to go back at all, but rather are focused more on helping you figure out what IS right NOW, so you can focus with all your might on THAT.
With all of this, there's a high likelihood that in all the advice about what is and isn't correct, with all the differing opinions on what is and isn't 'in alignment' and all the conflicting messages about how to FIND our false beliefs and then how to FIX them - we end up feeling like there's no real right answer at all.
Or we end up doing loops in our mind trying to figure out what is and isn't a false belief, ending up more confused and lost than we were when we started.
Today I want to offer a different approach.
Rather than doing a bunch of mental gymnastics to try to figure out what is and isn't true, rather than trying tonpsychoanalyse everything in our lives, rather than attempting to go into every memory to root out what was and wasn't helpful - I have a totally different technique that may make things a bit easier and a LOT less existential.
Figuring out what really works for you isn't always an easy task, but there is a way to make it *easier*.
Let's see if we can find this new way together.
