Hello Love!
It's totally normal and natural to look for 'the right way' in this life.
We're all on some level looking for this 'right way' because at the end of the day, we want to be happy in our lives.
We want to do things 'right' because in our minds/bodies doing things 'right' means getting good results.
We want to do relationships 'right' so that we will have connected, fulfilling and safe love. We want to treat our bodies 'right' so that we will enjoy good health. We want to do our spirituality 'right' so that we will be rewarded with a blissful life experience/the promise of a blissful afterlife.
That's where the desire to be 'good' started anyway.
The problem is that for most of us now, being 'good' or 'right' has gotten confused and diluted. Most of us aren't even aware that we're chasing 'good' because we want to be happy - and if we are aware of this, most of us believe that being 'good' means living up to some expectation/protocol set by other HUMANS.
For most of us, being 'good' isn't connected to having a good experience in actual reality. It's now made us feel that we have to be/do/not do/not be certain things so that we will be approved of by others or so that we will live up to the conditioning we were handed - and in THIS we are actually being DISCONNECTED from the ACTUAL reason we're trying to be 'good' in the first place.
Because so much of the time what culture hands us as 'good' isn't actually in alignment with real reality and true outcome.
Meaning when we DO live up to the rulebook we suffer in real reality. When we don't live up to the rule book we suffer socially/internally.
This can also lead to a feeling of being generally 'lost' in our lives - feeling like no matter WHAT we do we aren't happy.
This is where self love comes in.
Today I want to break down how self love can help us get OUT of this binary way of living, so that we can find ACTUAL ways of being that support our true happiness - even if those ways go AGAINST culture.

Remember, you don't have to do this work alone!
This self love work can be really challenging.
It fly's in the face of everything culture teaches us.
Meaning, it can be really hard to remember to show up for ourselves, to learn how to validate our emotions, to stay in a state of self compassion and curiosity.
This is why I created the school - because when we do this TOGETHER, we usually find that we go a lot farther.
You don't have to do this alone, I and the other students are here to be supports for you along your path.
We're not here to be totally independent, and this path is about community just as much as it is about self empowerment.
So if you're feeling alone, remember there are people out there like you, who are doing this work too.
