Hello My Beautiful Loves!
Today I have a post I wrote for YourZenLife all about healthy boundaries and self love.
The thing is, most of us who do not truly love ourselves, find that we either have super leaky open boundaries with others - meaning we are the 'doormat' type, someone who allows others to take advantage of us - or we have really closed and clamped down boundaries - being the 'stoic' types who prefer to do things on their own and never show weakness - both of which are two sides of the same coin.
That coin being that we do not have/are not enough within ourselves, and thus we need the love and approval of others to be ok, or we feel we need to protect ourselves from being drained by others at all costs.
Both of these states are painful.
So today let's explore true healthy boundaries in the context of self love.
Which is the only context where they can actually exist.
Let me know what you think!
