We ALL Feel Dissatisfied And Want More – How Do We Handle This Without Getting LOST In Self Help?

The self help world capitalizes on the fact that we are pretty much always going to be in a state of ‘getting there’ so long as we are alive.

The truth is, we are never going to find ultimate satisfaction/fulfillment in life - because so long as we’re alive and breathing, there’s ALWAYS going to be something more we want to grow into.

Every time we take a step, every time we reach a goal, every time we ‘become’ what we have been striving to become - we are going to notice that this becomes the new platform upon which we want to build into our next expression.

For most of us, this means a life of never, ever feeling good enough.

And it drives us to the self help/spirituality world, that tells us that they can sell us the ticket to ultimate satisfaction and freedom, to getting RID of that feeling of ‘desire’ via helping us ‘perfect’ ourselves or our lives in some way so that we never feel that aching ‘wanting’ sensation ever again.

But again, the reality is, ‘getting there’ is actually impossible.

And ‘getting there’ isn’t what we ACTUALLY need to feel good in life either.

So how do we get out of the never ending loops of self help/personal growth/spirituality that tell us that there IS a ‘there’ to get to - leaving us in a chronic state of striving and never arriving - while still honoring the fact that we are always going to want more?

How do we feel satisfied with what is, while still remaining open to the reality that we are always going to want more?
