Why We Feel Like We Have To Be Good/Right To Be Safe And Worthy

Hello Love!

Do you constantly feel like you may be/are a 'bad' person?

Do you feel a sense that you should always be 'doing good?' Or 'being good' without 'really' knowing what this actually means?

Do you ever feel like you need to be doing life RIGHT? Like you must be doing everything perfectly - again without really knowing what that would practically look like?

Do you have a vague sense that you're doing it wrong? A sense of shame or guilt that seems to follow you everywhere in life - and when you look into that feeling there's the message 'you're not good, you're not doing it right, you're doing it wrong and that's BAD' underneath?

Do you constantly feel like you're not living up to standard, like you're constantly failing to miss the mark, always falling short - and you always have something you can blame the feeling on - but the reality is that feeling just follows you EVERYWHERE?

If so, this video is for you.

Today I'm going to unpack this deep sense of being 'bad', wanting to do things 'right', wanting to be 'good' that most of us have, that's mixed with a deep problem of never really knowing what 'right' or 'good' would actually BE. We just know we aren't it. I want to explore why so many of us constantly feel shame and guilt that we can't really put our finger on, that seems to be a theme in MOST of what we do/are.

This is a deep childhood conditioning that has SOME roots in reality. There is a way to pragmatically approach this so that we can find actual satisfaction in our imperfection, and the fact that we will always be learning and therefore never be 'perfect.'
