Manufactured Discontent – How Self Improvement/Spirituality Blocks Us From Ever Being Happy

We all want to become our best selves, to reach our potential, live our purpose.
More than that, we want to have pleasure.
We want to heal, to find love, to find peace, to figure out a way of living that leaves us feeling peace and calm rather than constantly feeling anxious, like we aren't enough and like we're missing something. We want to heal. We want to create something. We want to find a way of supporting ourselves that feels meaningful. We want security.
We want to feel like this world is a safe place for us, where we can get our needs met, where we can be ourselves without risking persecution in some way.
We're told, all day long, every day that all of these things are required for happiness. For peace. For fulfillment.
But is this really true?
We're living in a world that tells us that there's always a next level. There's always something we should be reaching for. All of our discontent is boiled down to there being something LACKING - our negative emotions, our discontent, our illness, our fear - it's all a sign of us missing something we need to find. We're told to even feel satisfied, good enough or like we're in a good place is to be missing our potential and settling when there could be so much MORE we could become.
Thus, many of us are on a perpetual search. We constantly feel like the good life we are seeking is just out of touch.
Like there's another thing we have to heal, another thing we have to create, another thing we have to step into, another level to rise to, a higher experience we have to achieve - and no matter what we DO heal/achieve/experience - it all becomes the new bottom from which we have to continue climbing.
This is called manufactured discontent and it's driving a lot of us to extremes we really don't need to be going to.
Let's talk about why being on a perpetual quest to evolve, to achieve, to grow and heal WITHOUT finding our celebration, happiness and contentment in what we have leads to a life of continual dissatisfaction that really, at the end of the day, just makes us great consumers and producers - but not happy or healthy HUMANS.
Let's learn to rise above the manufactured discontent so we can find a life of joy ON the journey.

Wanting something a little more structured and organized?

Wanting to take your self love path to the next level but not sure how to do that?

Are you feeling like there’s more to you but you’re not exactly sure what that ‘more’ is or how to access it?

Are you sick and tired of ‘self help’ but know that you need some form of support to really find a life that works for you?

Then the Aliyah Mystery School may be something that can help 🙂

There are already 3 full programs in the school designed to help you radically connect with your body, your emotions, your spirituality and your intellect so that you can begin creating a life that works for you - instead of trying to shove yourself into the boxes society has created for you.

This month I’m launching a fourth course - and this course is the most radical yet. This course will teach you not only how to connect with yourself, but how to connect with that greater sense of unconditional love, so that you can take your journey of self expression to the next level.

There’s never been anything wrong with you - this course is about showing you how deeply perfect you are, and it’s about giving you the tools you need to build a life around your essence, so that you can stop trying to fit to a world that doesn’t make room for you.
