Why You Shouldn’t Always Be ‘Leaning In’ To Fear In Order To Grow

Hello Love!

How many times have you heard a spirituality or self help expert say that in order to REALLY 'manifest' your perfect life, in order to become who you're supposed to become, in order to achieve what you want to achieve and in order to really DO what you came here to DO - you MUST lean INTO your fear and do what scares you?

How many times have you heard that 'growth happens outside of your comfort zone' - and believed this to mean that if you're in a state of ease in your life this means that you're 'failing' in some way?

How many times have you felt that tug of 'no this is wrong/bad!' happen in your gut/chest, only to be told that this is you limiting yourself, and that this is your opportunity to EXPAND by pushing PAST that fear into whatever you're currently resisting?

How many times have you been told that you must be pursuing things that make you feel like you're listening to nails on a chalkboard - and that this is what 'healing' looks like?

If your answer is 'any amount of times' then todays video is for you.

Today I want to explore why there's *some* truth to the idea that we need discomfort in order to grow - or rather - that being uncomfortable is always going to be a PART of growth. That being said, the idea that pushing ourselves into deep states of fear, discounting the very REAL messages of 'no' from our bodies and going for radical solutions that deeply PROFIT the people who are SELLING these solutions to you, to problems that we're in a desperate place to fix is often going to result in the exact OPPOSITE of growth.

I want to explain the fine line between the discomfort of growth and the very real reality that sometimes things are NOT helpful and we fear them because they are HARMFUL.

Today let's see if we can get a little better at differentiating between the discomfort of growth and the discomfort of harm - so we can be wiser with where we 'lean in' and where we don't.
